MDF (medium-density fiberboard) is the most popular and economical product that we install. It comes pre-primed for paint, is easily installed with minimal problems, and is the product most commonly used by large-scale builders. The next most requested product is finger joint pine, which is very similar to the MDF and comes in a few different profiles. Stain-grade hardwood moldings are also available by special order.
We charge by the lineal foot for both molding and paint, which means whatever the rooms measure is what you pay for. Generally speaking, moldings prices vary depending on the sizes selected, but our price includes the labor, materials, and installation with paint as a separate estimate. There are additional charges for extra corners, vaulted or high ceilings, and special order materials.
